Hall Of Fame

Dear friends,

Saturday 31th october 2009 a beautiful dream has finally become reality. Thanks to the ASSOCIAZIONE ATLETI AZZURRI e OLIMPICI d’ITALIA ( ASSOCIATION NATIONAL TEAM AZZURRI AND OLIMPICS OF ITALY), has been opened the museum of the exccelence of venetian sport in the world. It is what you American would call “ HALL OF FAME”. This musem is completally dedicated to the those atlhets who has the honore to wear the worldwide famous “Maglia Azzurra”, The “Blu T-shirt”. Because I have been part of the Italian National Team from 1982 to the 1987, and because I am member of the Association named above, it wsa asked to me be part of the project giving a object as symbol of my sportive carrier. I was delightful to give the black belt that I was used to wear in that particulary rich part of my sportive life. Great emotions and memories are connected to her. She is now exposed with my sportive curriculum vitae and my picture in a beautiful bacheca to rember, for ever, what I have been able to do. In this gallery you can really breath the “excellence”, because I am close to super-champion venetian of any kind of sport. Maurizio Darai, lots of times off-shore Italian, European and world champion, has given the ELICA of his preferred boat; amog the others were present Maurizio Pescatori, swimming world champion in Perth (Australia) 2000, “Dodo” Gorla, lots of times sailing eurpean ,world and olimpic champion, Cipressa, SCHERMA SUPER CHAMPION. I found lots and lots of sportive CIMELI, AGED ’30. This musem, or Hall of Fame, is located in a very ancient part of Venice, giving it more, if it is possible, more SUGGESTIONE, FASCINO E STORICITà ALL’INIZIATIVA. Personally, I am really honored and proud to be part of such a highly sportive elite. I thank my destiny that ave me an opportunity when, childhood, in a very far afternoon in November 1971, my father took me to see a child karate lesson ….
